4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman will begin from the 11th starting position in Saturday's Drydene 311 (Race 1) at Dover International Speedway. Bowman and the No. 88 team are still trying to break out of their funk, which has lasted over two months now. Last week, Bowman had some more tire issues but rallied to salvage a decent 12th-place finish. There is some hope for Bowman, as he heads to Dover. Last year, Bowman contended for the win in both Dover races, ultimately scoring a second and third-place finish. Bowman's cost in DFS is just a touch above-average, and he does have some room to move up a good number of positions. This weekend will be very telling for Bowman. Until he can show he has returned to his early-season form, it is tough to trust him in lineups, but this could be the week he recaptures that form.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
