Erik Jones Starts 13th In Race One At Dover
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Erik Jones will start from the 13th position in Saturday's Drydene 311 (Race 1) at Dover International Speedway. Jones and the No. 20 team are fighting for their playoff lives, and the last four races haven't helped their case. Jones currently sits 35 points behind the cutoff line and will need to turn in his best performance at Dover. In eight career starts at the one-mile track, Jones only has a single top-five, and two top-10 finishes. Jones isn't the most expensive driver in DFS, but costs enough to deter players from selecting him for lineups. His upside isn't super high, and with how inconsistent the No. 20 team has been in 2020, there are better options than Jones, for race one of the Dover doubleheader.
