4 years agoThe New York Yankees and New York Mets were set to meet Friday in the first Subway Series contest of 2020 at Citi Field. But due to positive COVID-19 tests within the Mets’ organization -- including at least one player and one member of the staff -- the first game has been postponed, with the remainder of the series up in the air. The Reds are the most recent team to have an isolated positive COVID-19 case and they missed four days of action, which would wipe out the entire weekend for the New York clubs if the league follows the same protocol. Owners will want to begin looking elsewhere in season-long formats for over the weekend, as there’s significant doubt as to whether the two teams will play at all.--Jesse Borek
