Taijuan Walker Has Another Strong Performance Wednesday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Taijuan Walker gave up three runs on four hits and a walk through seven innings in Wednesday's win over the Dodgers. Walker now has back-to-back strong starts and has a quality start in three of five. Though the last two starts are encouraging, Walker is still notoriously too inconsistent to be a must-start player. He is set to take on the Padres opposite Dineslon Lamet next Wednesday which should be a tough matchup. Walker shouldn't be started next Wednesday, but if he is to show up with another strong outing against the Padres, he would be mixed-league relevant.
