Matt Harvey Lasts Just Three Innings In Royals Debut
4 years agoFormer All-Star pitcher Matt Harvey made his first start as a member of the Kansas City Royals in Game 2 of Wednesday's double-header against the Cincinnati Reds, but the outing didn't last long. Harvey was hit hard in the game, giving up two home runs and a total of three earned runs over three innings in the start. Harvey is coming off a rough year with the Los Angeles Angels in which he posted a 7.09 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. He's going to need a string of promising starts in order to warrant fantasy consideration given his recent disastrous track record. However, it's not even guaranteed he'll make another start at this point as this outing was a spot start in place of Jakob Junis (back), who is currently on the Injured List.
