Alex Tuch, Vegas Eliminate Chicago in Game 5
4 years agoThe Vegas Golden Knights had to come back from a deficit twice during Game 5 of the best-of-seven series against the Chicago Blackhawks, but they sealed the victory with Alex Tuch's early third-period goal. Tuch actually scored a second goal late in the third period on Tuesday night, but it was nullified due to incidental goaltender interference. Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty and Alec Martinez also found the back of the net for Vegas. Goalie Robin Lehner rebounded from a Game 4 loss to stop 23 of 26 shots. Chicago was kept in the game by another strong performance from veteran netminder Corey Crawford, who stopped 35 shots. Jonathan Toews, Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane scored goals in the losing effort. Vegas' next opponent is to be determined.
