4 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (wrist) is not in the starting lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the St. Louis Cardinals. Bryant has been dealing with a wrist injury since late last week, and he is not expected to return until the weekend. In his absence, Nico Hoerner will start at third base and bat ninth against Jack Flaherty and the Cardinals.
