Luis Robert Hits A Pair Of Bombs
Luis Robert went yard twice on Monday versus the Detroit Tigers. It was the rookie’s only hits and he also had three RBI. Robert has lived up to all the expectations so far and is now hitting .286 with five bombs, 13 RBI and four stolen bases. Robert has about as much upside as any player in the game and despite a recent funk should be owned and started in all formats.

Luis Robert Jr. Homers, Swipes A Bag On Saturday
Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run, three runs scored, and a stolen base in Saturday's 10-3 win over the Athletics. The home run was his third of the season, and he's now up to eight steals, but it has been another disappointing season so far for the former All-Star. The 6-foot-2 slugger has had one multi-hit performance in 2025, and it came way back in March, currently slashing .148/.269/.273 with a 33.0 percent strikeout rate, .250 wOBA, and 59 wRC+. With his offensive potential, fantasy managers probably need to exercise patience in hopes he eventually turns it around, but leaving him on the bench for now could be a wise move.

Luis Robert Jr. Homers In Victory
Luis Robert Jr. tried to break out of his slump during Saturday's game against the Boston Red Sox. He was fairly quiet until blasting a two-run home run in the sixth inning to tie the game. Robert would later steal a base and score the game-winning run in the ninth inning. It has been an ugly start for Robert, but he is tied for the MLB lead in steals with six. He has also collected a hit in four of his last five games. Hopefully, Robert is now trending in the right direction, so fantasy managers should continue to hold him.

Luis Robert Jr. Resting On Thursday
Luis Robert Jr. will head to the bench for Thursday's series finale against the division-rival Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field. Michael Taylor will start in center field and will bat eighth against Guardians right-hander Gavin Williams. Robert could probably use the day off, as he was hitless in his five plate appearances on Wednesday and has gone just 6-for-39 (.154) with a double, RBI, three steals, three runs scored, five walks and 13 strikeouts in his first 11 games in 2025. Fantasy managers shouldn't be too worried just yet, but hopefully the 27-year-old slugger can begin to pick things up this weekend for a series at home against the visiting Boston Red Sox. Taylor has gone just 3-for-17 in the early going with a homer, two RBI and a stolen base in eight games played. He'll be a weak DFS option, and he's never faced Williams in his career.

Luis Robert Jr. Swipes Two Bags In Loss To Cleveland
Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-3 with a single and two steals in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to the Cleveland Guardians. The 27-year-old was also caught stealing on a third attempt, walking and striking out once. Robert Jr. has struggled to kick off the season, compiling a .176 (6-for-34) batting average with a lone extra-base hit (double) in his first ten appearances (34-at-bats). However, it was nice to see him running again -- something he hadn't done since March. The Cuban-born right-hander has been a notoriously slow starter over the prior few seasons, so it's not time to sound the alarm bells yet. One silver lining for Robert Jr. is that his hard-hit rate has jumped up nearly three points thus far from the 40.7% figure he bolstered in 2024 (43.5%).
