Robert Alford To Miss Second Straight Season
4 years agoUpdating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Robert Alford (pectoral) tore his pectoral muscle and will miss the entire 2020 season, according to a source. Alford missed all of last season, too, after breaking his leg, so this is a tough blow for the 31-year-old from Southeastern Louisiana. He will undergo surgery to fix his torn pec. He was entering his eighth season in the NFL. With Alford out for the year, Byron Murphy or Kevin Peterson will have to step up at cornerback across from Patrick Peterson for the Cardinals.
