Jairzinho Rozenstruik defeated Tai Tuivasa in a contentious split decision at UFC 305, leaving most of the fans questioning the result of the fight. The fight saw Rozenstruik maintain control with effective leg kicks and counterattacks, while Tuivasa struggled to find openings. Most fans thought Rozenstruik should have won by a unanimous decision but one judge gave all the rounds to Tuivasa. In 15 minutes of action, Rozenstruik landed 91 significant strikes, compared to Tuivasa who landed 37. With this win, Rozenstruik improved to 15-5 as a pro.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik returned to the win column at UFC Vegas 87 with a TKO victory over Shamil Gaziev. Rozenstruik was in complete control when the stoppage happened after he battered Gaziev with jabs throughout the fight. After the fourth round, Gaziev told his corner that he was having difficulties seeing due to the potential injury to his eye. In 20 minutes of action, Rozenstruik landed 127 significant strikes. With the win, Rozenstruik moved to 2-1 in his past three appearances in the UFC.
