Kyle Busch Has Multiple Problems, Finishes 37th At Daytona
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Kyle Busch crashed out of Sunday's Go Bowling 235 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course and finished in the 37th position. Busch started from the fourth position and took the lead on lap two. Unfortunately, everything went all downhill from there. At the end of lap two, Busch locked up his tires in the chicane and had to pit after flat-spotting the tires. Busch self-spun later in the race, but the big blow was when Busch made his final pit stop. Running in second at the time, Busch pulled into pit road, and it was discovered that the No. 18 had a brake rotor issue. After losing multiple laps, Busch returned to the track to try to gain some points but was finished off when both of his rear tires blew, and Busch nosed into the backstretch wall. This continued Busch's comical season of bad luck and pushed him closer to the playoff cut line.
