Jakob Junis Held Out On Saturday
4 years agoKansas City Royals pitcher Jakob Junis (back) was initially slated to be the team's primary hitter in game one of their double header against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday. However, Junis suffered from back spasms while warming up and the team decided to hold him out. Early indications make it sound like the team was extra cautious with the situation and that Junis could return to action shortly. Whether he'll actually start in his next appearance or pitch behind an opener is still yet to be determined.
