Alex Bowman Under-Priced In DFS For The Daytona Road Course
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman will start from the 27th position in Sunday's Go Bowling 235 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course. Bowman and the No. 88 team have fallen off the map, after starting strong in 2020, scoring only three top-10 finishes in the last 10 races. Bowman has also only led 18 laps during that span. In comparison, Bowman led 369 laps over the first eight races of the 2020 season. Fortunately for Bowman, he has fared well on road courses since joining HMS. Bowman has run solidly in every road course race and has excelled at the makeshift Charlotte Roval, scoring a top-five finish in both races. Bowman starts deep in the field and is very under-priced, given his position differential potential. Bowman may not wow with his performance, but will be a solid lineup choice for Sunday's race.
