Kurt Busch A Sneaky DFS Play At The Daytona Road Course
4 years agoChip Ganassi Racing's Kurt Busch will roll off from the eighth starting position in Sunday's Go Bowling 235 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course. While Busch has not had race-winning speed in 2020, he has been ultra-consistent all year, with 14 top-10 finishes in 22 starts. Busch is coming off of a pair of 10th-place finishes at Michigan and is a threat to contend on Sunday. Busch is a renowned road course driver, with a ton of past success. In 40 combined starts at Cup Series road courses, Busch has a win, 11 top-fives, and 21 top-10 finishes. One of Busch's more memorable moments was when he almost won at Sonoma, in an underfunded car. Busch doesn't have a high upside for position differential but is an affordable option in DFS. Busch also has experience on the road course layout at DIS, racing in two Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona events.
