Ryan Blaney Starts 24th At The Daytona Road Course
4 years agoPenske Racing's Ryan Blaney will start from the 24th position in Sunday's Go Bowling 235 at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course. Blaney is looking to rebound after tangling with his teammate, Brad Keselowski, and wrecking out of the second race of the Michigan doubleheader. Blaney has not found victory lane since winning at Talladega, in late June, but can be a driver to watch on the road course layout at Daytona. In 10 combined Cup Series starts at road courses, Blaney has three top-fives, and six top-10 finishes, including a memorable victory in the series' first race at the Charlotte Roval, in 2018. Blaney has the most position differential upside of anyone in the field, but he is also the most expensive driver in DFS. That alone will make Blaney a tough lineup choice, especially in a race with so much uncertainty.
