Rich Hill Could Return During Current Homestand
4 years agoMinnesota Twins left-handed pitcher Rich Hill tossed a 60-pitch session at the club’s alternate training site Friday, in which pitching coach Derek Falvey relayed that Hill “felt great.” In light of that update, Minnesota is planning to get Hill on the bump at some point during the team’s current homestand, which runs until next Thursday against Milwaukee. Hill has made just one start all season, tossing five scoreless frames against the Cardinals back on July 29. His injury history makes him a finicky season-long own, although he will have significant DFS appeal should he be able to ramp up his pitch count high enough. Check back for an update for when Hill will officially get on the mound.
