Kris Bryant Scratched From Thursday's Lineup
4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder/third baseman Kris Bryant (wrist) has been scratched from Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Bryant is dealing with left wrist and left ring finger soreness, resulting from a diving play he made in the fifth inning of Wednesday's game. Nico Hoerner is taking over as leadoff hitter for the game with Kyle Schwarber in left field and David Bote at third base. It doesn't sound like anything serious for the Cubs slugger. He should be considered day-to-day by his fantasy owners for now.
