Chicago Bears wide receiver Anthony Miller enters training camp trying to put 2019 behind him after disappointing last season. The third-year receiver caught seven touchdowns during his rookie season in 2018 and Miller's future looked very bright. But Miller endured a sloppy training camp and struggled to see the field the first month of the season. He did rebound and finished the season with 52 receptions for 656 yards but caught only two touchdowns. Bears receivers coach Mike Furrey has made a litany of comments in the offseason about Miller's preparation but has praised, thus far, what he has seen. ‘‘He's trying to learn. He's dropped the ego of this whole Memphis thing. Now he's coming here and learning from Allen Robinson, asking Allen Robinson, watching Allen Robinson," Furrey told reporters. "If you're starting to do that stuff, you're definitely heading in the right direction and starting to grow individually.'' Miller will be the definition of boom-or-bust heading into fantasy drafts.--Joey C - RotoBaller

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Anthony Miller was signed a week ago and initially just looked like another fresh and healthy body to help get the Ravens through the preseason. However, Miller has made an instant impression with his speed and is at least in the mix late in training camp for a 53-man roster spot, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec. It remains to be seen if he has done enough to pass Tylan Wallace on the receiver depth chart, though. Miller has made a few plays in just about every Ravens practice and had three receptions on three consecutive plays in the second preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. The 29-year-old former second-round pick in 2018 by the Chicago Bears out of Memphis hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2021, when he caught six passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in three games with Houston and Pittsburgh. Even if Miller somehow makes the final roster, he'll be coming off the bench for Baltimore.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Kansas City Chiefs signed free-agent wide receiver Anthony Miller to a Reserve/Futures deal on Wednesday. Miller will be a long shot to return to NFL action with Kansas City. The 29-year-old has not appeared in an NFL game since 2021, when he had just six catches on 12 targets for 25 yards and one touchdown in three games with the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers. Miller was taken in the second round of the 2018 draft out of Memphis and had seven touchdown receptions in his rookie season, but after that it was all downhill. He caught 101 passes for 1,141 yards and four touchdowns in 2019 and 2020 before jumping around the NFL with several different teams. Miller will be competing for a roster spot with the Chiefs in training camp and the preseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Indianapolis Colts signed free-agent wide receiver Anthony Miller to their practice squad on Tuesday. Miller last popped up on an NFL roster with the San Francisco 49ers late in August but hasn't appeared in a game since Week 12 of the 2021 season, when he was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Overall, Miller has 140 receptions for 1,589 yards and 12 touchdowns across 50 games. Miller will add some depth to the Colts' receiving corps in hopes of getting signed to the 53-man roster at some point during the 2023 season.--Matt T - RotoBaller

The San Francisco 49ers signed former Chicago Bears wide receiver Anthony Miller to an undisclosed deal on Monday, according to a source. Miller has also played for the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers and will be a big speed threat for head coach Kyle Shanahan's offense. He didn't see any action at all in the NFL last year. With the Texans and Steelers in 2021, Miller caught six of 12 targets for 25 yards and one touchdown in just three games (one start). The former second-round pick was released by the Steelers this summer but will hope to earn his way onto San Francisco's final roster entering the regular season. Miller remains well off the fantasy radar at this time.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
