4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justus Sheffield gave up four hits and struck out seven over six scoreless innings in Sunday's win over the Rockies. This is the type of potential that Sheffield has flashed in the past and it was encouraging to finally see in 2020, especially against a hot Rockies lineup. That being said, Sheffield has been too inconsistent in his major league career to expect starts like this moving forward. He could be a speculative add, but his next start is scheduled for Sunday at Houston and starting him there is a very risky proposal.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
