New York Islanders left winger Anthony Beauvillier scored two goals in the Game 4 victory to help the team clinch a 3-1 series win over the Florida Panthers in the 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifiers. The 23-year-old scored twice in the first period to bring his total to three goals in the series against the Panthers, while forwards Brock Nelson, Mathew Barzal and Jean-Gabriel Pageau each added a goal in the contest to factor into the win. Goaltender Semyon Varlamov stopped 24-of-25 shots on goal in the game, earning his third victory in the series. The Islanders will now wait to find out who they play in the first round of the Playoffs, with the opponent set to be either the Boston Bruins or Washington Capitals depending on the outcome of their final round-robin match-up on Sunday.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller

The Washington Capitals have acquired left wing Anthony Beauvillier from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a 2025 second-round selection. Beauvillier inked a one-year $1.25 million contract with the Penguins in the offseason and will now join one of the top contenders before the playoff push. During his time in the Steel City, Beauvillier found the back of the net 13 times and added seven helpers. He tallied one of his points on the power-play and added an impressive 108 hits (1.7 per game). Beauvillier logged 120 shots on goal (1.9 per game) with 26 blocked shots. Beauvillier saw time in several situations on the Pittsburgh lineup throughout the campaign. He opened the season in the top-six but was eventually moved to the third line. In Washington, fantasy managers should expect Beauvillier to find a role in the middle-six and carry decent value in deeper formats playing on a Stanley Cup contender.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Pittsburgh Penguins winger Anthony Beauvillier scored with both shots on goal in Thursday's 6-3 win against Detroit. The Penguins fell behind to an Alex DeBrincat goal early in the game, but Beauvillier gave his team a lead by the time the fourth minute of the second period came around. Beauvillier produced a plus-three rating skating on the first line with Sidney Crosby and Rickard Rakell. The 27-year-old has struggled for consistency throughout his NHL career, but he looks set for a very successful campaign next to Crosby, who had assists on both Beauvillier goals in Thursday's win.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

The Nashville Predators have acquired forward Anthony Beauvillier from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a 2024 fifth-round draft pick. The middle-six forward was traded by the Islanders to the Vancouver Canucks prior to the 2023 trade deadline as part of a package for Bo Horvat before landing with the Blackhawks from the Canucks in exchange for a conditional 2024 fifth-round pick in November. After putting forth solid production for the Islanders in parts of eight seasons, the 26-year-old's production has dipped as he posted two goals and eight points with Vancouver in 22 games this season before recording two goals and six points in another 23 games with the Blackhawks. The Predators currently occupy the second and final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, six points up on the St. Louis Blues.--Brenton Kemp

Chicago Blackhawks winger Anthony Beauvillier sustained an upper-body injury in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to Nashville. He left in the second period after absorbing a hit from Predators forward Filip Forsberg. After the game, Beauvillier was seen wearing a brace/cast on his left wrist/arm. The 26-year-old skated in his 15th game as a Blackhawk. He's had two goals and four assists with the team. Chicago has suffered multiple injuries up front lately, and it looks like Beauvillier will now also be sidelined.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
