Khris Davis Busts Out Of Slump Vs Mariners
4 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis broke out of his slump with a big game in Seattle Monday night. Davis went 2-for-3 and with two runs, two RBI and launched his first homer of the season in a beatdown of the Mariners. The night actually raised Davis' average to .125, but it was good for fantasy managers to see the hitter they thought they drafted for a night. A's Manager Bob Melvin said the team still believes in Davis so he should stay in the lineup and hopefully this performance is a sign of things to come for the slugger. He'll look to carry this momentum into a series at Texas starting Tuesday night.
