Minnesota Wild goaltender Alex Stalock recorded a shutout in just his second career Playoff appearance, as the Wild picked up a 3-0 victory against the Canucks to take a 1-0 series lead. The 33-year-old made 28 saves and stopped everything the opposition threw at him, along with 14 first period saves to keep the Wild ahead on the scoreboard early in the contest. Forward Kevin Fiala opened the scoring with a power-play goal to carry his hot streak into the Qualifiers, while defenseman Jared Spurgeon found the back of the net twice in the contest — a second period power-play goal and an empty-netter in the final minute of the final frame to seal the victory. Stalock's strong performance in the opener strongly suggests that he will be back between the pipes in Game 2 of the series on Tuesday.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
