Fernando Tatis Jr. Comes Up With Clutch Home Run
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a game-tying home run off Rockies closer Wade Davis with two out and two strikes in the ninth inning on Friday. It started a four-run rally that ended up winning the game for the club as Tatis finished the game going 2-for-5 with a stolen base. The youngster has three thefts to go along with a pair of bombs, seven runs, nine RBI, and a .313 BA, proving to be one of the league's top all-around hitters this season. There were some doubts about his high draft price this season, but the 21-year-old is living up to the hype so far in 2020.
