Taylor Rogers Works Easy Ninth For Second Save
4 years agoMinnesota Twins closer Taylor Rogers needed just five pitches to get through the ninth inning of Friday's 4-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians. Rogers has looked really good in two appearances, notching two saves, two punch-outs and throwing 13 of 16 pitches for strikes. It was nice to see manager Rocco Baldelli go to the 29-year-old for the second consecutive time in a save situation, especially given the uncertainty of other bullpen/closer situations around the league. Rogers should have plenty more save chances for Minnesota in 2020.
