4 years agoTexas Rangers closer Jose Leclerc (shoulder) has landed on the 45-day injured with a grade 2 teres major strain in his right shoulder. This is awful news for the Rangers, Leclerc and fantasy owners. Leclerc suffered the injury on Wednesday as he was warming up for a save opportunity, but had to stop and didn’t enter the contest. Nick Goody received the save on Wednesday, but it could be a bullpen by committee for now and is worth a speculative add at the moment. There is currently no timetable for Leclerc’s return, but owners shouldn’t count on him for the rest of the season.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
