Justin Dunn Chased Early In Debut
4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justin Dunn gave up three runs, two earns, on one hit and three walks in Wednesday's game against the Angels. Though the final line doesn't look great, the 24-year-old showed a lot of potential in this start. Dunn opened the game with three no-hit innings before allowing a 3-run homer to Shohei Ohtani in the fourth, then was pulled after walking Justin Upton in the next at-bat. Dunn showed a lot of promise in the minors with a mid-threes ERA and over 10 K/9 in 2018 and 2019. Dunn is scheduled to take on the Athletics on Monday and while fantasy owners shouldn't rush to pick him up after a start like this, they should keep an eye on him.
