Anthony DeSclafani Should Be Ready For This Weekend
4 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (right teres major strain) has progressed well through his recovery. He has begun throwing again and it appears likely that he will only miss one turn in the rotation with Tyler Mahle filling in for him on Tuesday. DeSclafani's first start of 2020 will likely be on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers, an extremely welcoming way to start his season. DeSclafani was 9-9 last year with a 3.89 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 9.0 K/9. He should be added in just about all leagues if only just for his extremely favorable matchup against the Tigers on Sunday.
