Corey Kluber Out For Four Weeks
4 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Corey Kluber has a Grade 2 strain of the teres major muscle in the back of his shoulder and will be sidelined four weeks before getting re-evaluated. The right-hander left his start on Sunday in the first inning, and won't be able to return to a starting role once he's recovered. The Rangers will likely use him as a relief option late in the year if he's recovered on time, but any setback could shut him down for the season. It's a massive blow to the Rangers squad who acquired him this offseason.
