Brad Keller Won't Be Ready For Opening Day
4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller will not be part of the Royals roster for Opening Day and will remain on the injured list as the season begins. Keller resumed baseball activities late last week after being sidelined from testing positive for COVID-19 earlier in the summer. Fellow starter Jakob Junis is also going to begin the season on the injured list, which means the team will have some decisions to make for their starters beyond Danny Duffy and Mike Montgomery. Candidates to open the season in the Royals rotation include Brady Singer, Jesse Hahn and Foster Griffin. Singer is the one fantasy owners should be most aware of. He's one of the team's top prospects, and if he's given a start to open the season, he's worth adding in most leagues.
