Chase Elliott An Expensive DFS Play At Texas
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott will start from the eighth position in Sunday's O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Elliott won Wednesday night's All-Star Race, at Bristol Motor Speedway, and will look to carry that momentum over to TMS. Before the All-Star win, Elliott and the No. 9 team had been scuffling, with only one top-10 finish in five races. In eight starts at Texas, Elliott has been solid with five top-10 finishes. Elliott has run well on 1.5-mile tracks this year, so he should be a contender in this one. For DFS, Elliott is pretty expensive. DFS players will have Elliott in plenty of lineups, but he may not be the best driver to select. Other high-end drivers look more appealing to put into lineups, but Elliott is by no means a bad pick.
