4 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Billy Hamilton passed his physical and is back in the team's summer camp on Friday. Pitcher Luis Madero, who was confirmed to test positive for COVID-19, has also been cleared to take part in workouts. The Giants will not rush Hamilton back just for Opening Day next Friday, so we could see him eased into the team's lineup in the early going. The 29-year-old speedster had a good shot to win the starting gig in center field this year, but he should at least see a platoon role against left-handed pitchers. Hamilton won't help you in the hitting categories, but he's definitely worth an investment in NL-only leagues, at the very least, for his stolen base abilities.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
