Chase Elliott A Driver To Fade For DFS At Kentucky
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott drew the eighth starting spot for Sunday's Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. Elliott led 26 laps in last week's race at Indianapolis before a poor strategy call dropped him to an 11th-place finish. After a fast start to the season, the No. 9 team has been off their game in the last few races. Hendrick, as a whole, has seemed to be struggling as well, and Kentucky will do no favors for Elliott. In four starts at Kentucky, Elliott has one top-five, but he has never led a lap and has struggled in his last two trips to the 1.5-mile track. Elliott is one of the most expensive drivers in DFS, and this week may not be the time to choose him for lineups. He offers little upside for position differential, and eighth is the highest his average running position, during a race at Kentucky, has even been.
