Seasoned Russian Maxim Grishin Finally Gets UFC Call
4 years agoMaxim Grishin (30-7-2) will finally make his debut in the UFC after 12 years in the professional ranks. Grishin is a finisher for the most part, with 21 of his wins coming by finish and 15 of those being knockouts. Grishin hasn't lost since 2016 in which he was defeated in the fourth round by Magomed Ankalaev, who is now the No. 14-ranked light heavyweight in the UFC. Since then, Grishin has gone 7-0-2. Those two draws were under the PFL banner and their two-round playoff system. Maximus will be giving up a two-inch reach advantage and took the fight on short notice the Thursday before Fight Week. He is a veteran to the utmost degree and always brings the fight. His DK value is listed at $8,100. His opponent has been knocked out in three of his last four bouts, which is the big Russian's specialty.
