4 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Franmil Reyes has been cleared to return to Progressive Field on Wednesday for batting practice. Reyes was held out of workouts the last two days after attending a July 4 party over the weekend where people weren't wearing masks. The team required Reyes self-isolate as a result, and he has since tested negative for COVID-19. The 25-year-old Dominican had 37 total home runs in 150 games with the Padres and Indians in 2019 while slashing .249/.310/.512. He can be streaky and won't be of much help in the average department, but the power is very real and he might be even more attractive to owners chasing power during the shortened 60-game season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
