Bradley Beal Will Not Play In Orlando Due To Shoulder Injury
5 years agoWashington Wizards guard Bradley Beal (shoulder) will not be participating in the NBA's season restart as a result of a right rotator cuff injury, the team announced on Tuesday. Beal becomes the second member of the Wizards to opt out of the NBA's restart in Orlando, with power forward Davis Bertans announcing that he will not be playing on June 22. The 27-year-old Latvian explained that he would not participate due to his pending free agency, after posting 15.4 points per game on 42% shooting from three-point range. Beal's tremendous season was highlighted by career-highs of 30.5 points, 6.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds on 45.5% shooting from the field. The loss of Beal and Bertans will result in additional minutes and opportunity for players such as Thomas Bryant, Rui Hachimura and Ish Smith in the eight games scheduled to begin on July 30.

Bradley Beal Could Return On Tuesday
22 hours agoPhoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) may rejoin the action on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks, as the team has listed him as questionable on the injury report. The three-time All-Star has been unavailable for seven games due to a hamstring strain. Beal has started working on five-on-five drills in practice, which suggests his return is near. The Suns could certainly use some help, as the team's postseason hopes are fading away, and Kevin Durant (ankle) has been ruled out for at least a week. Beal may have a larger role on offense due to Durant's absence. If he isn't ready to return on Tuesday, Collin Gillespie will continue to have extra fantasy value.

Bradley Beal To Sit Out At Least One Week Of Action
2 weeks agoPhoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) will be unavailable for at least one week. The former All-Star sat out Monday's contest against the Toronto Raptors due to a left hamstring injury, and Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer noted that Beal will be re-evaluated in one week. With Beal sidelined, Collin Gillespie received the starting nod for the first time in his NBA career. However, he was not very impactful in the game, finishing a blowout victory with three points, two rebounds, and two assists in 16 minutes. Tyus Jones probably has the most to gain from Beal's absence, considering he rolled with the starters for the first few months of the season before Beal bumped him to the bench.

Bradley Beal Sidelined On Monday
2 weeks agoPhoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (hamstring) will not suit up for Monday's contest against the Toronto Raptors. He has been ruled out due to a left hamstring strain Beal suffered in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Phoenix will also be without Grayson Allen (foot) against the Raptors, so Tyus Jones and Collin Gillespie should get more run-outs in the backcourt. As a proven veteran in the league, Jones is the superior fantasy option, even though he has experienced a rocky season in Phoenix.

Bradley Beal Ready To Go For Wednesday
3 weeks agoPhoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (calf) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets. Beal is set to return to action after sitting out their last game due to a calf injury. There is no word on Beal being limited, so fantasy managers should expect the star guard to have his normal role in the rotation. Tyus Jones will head back to the bench and will lose streaming value with Beal back in the mix. Fantasy managers can go ahead and get Beal back in their lineups ahead of Wednesday's game.
