Dan Hooker Drops Decision In Potential Fight Of The Year
4 years agoThough coming out on the losing end of a 48-47, 48-47, 48-46 decision loss to Dustin Poirier, Dan Hooker showed that he could compete on the biggest of stages. It appeared Hooker took the first couple of rounds, and the bout was tied two rounds apiece heading into the fifth. Poirier just had more gas in the tank, and Hooker was unable to produce any successful offense, as he had done earlier in the bout. Fighting in the most stacked division in the UFC, there are still many huge matchups Hooker can have. Kevin Lee or Paul Felder could make for an exciting next opponent for the Hangman.
