Martin Truex Jr. A Favorite At Homestead
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Martin Truex Jr. will start sixth in Sunday's Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Truex stumbled out of the gates in 2020, but the No. 19 team has been hot in recent weeks. Many felt Truex would struggle with his new crew chief, James Small, but that thought was put to bed with a win at Martinsville on Wednesday night. Truex now heads to Homestead, his best statistical track, where he has an average finish of 10.2. In 15 starts at Homestead, Truex has a win, six top-fives and 10 top-10s. And in his last three starts, Truex has finished no worse than second. Truex will be one of the favorites on Sunday, and his price tag in DFS will reflect that. He should still be utilized in lineups and will look to win his second race in a row.
