Cole Custer An Amazing Lineup Play For Homestead
5 years agoStewart-Haas Racing's Cole Custer will start 35th in Sunday's Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Through 11 races of his rookie campaign, Custer has fallen well short of the lofty expectations of driving for a top-tier team like SHR. He is currently 26th in points, with only a single top-10, but Homestead is a welcoming site for Custer. In 2017, Custer scored his first career Xfinity Series win at Homestead, trouncing the field by leading 182 of the 200 laps. Custer then finished second to Tyler Reddick in both the 2018 and 2019 finales, just missing out on a championship. Given his track history, his potential for a high position differential, and the fact that he is absurdly cheap, Custer is a slam-dunk choice for DFS lineups.
