Christopher Bell A Cheap Option For Charlotte
5 years agoLeavine Family Racing's Christopher Bell picked up the first top-10 of his NASCAR Cup Series career during Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Bell ran as high as sixth and spent just over half (51.1 percent) of the series' marathon race in the top 15. In his rookie campaign, Bell has struggled a touch adapting to the Cup car, with an average finish of 22.9, but it appears he has started to come around after turning in a couple of solid performances since the series restarted last week in Darlington. Bell won 15 Xfinity races over the past two years and has the support of powerhouse team Joe Gibbs Racing. While there may be some growing pains and inconsistencies, Bell, a favorite for Rookie of the Year, is a fairly cheap DFS option to fill lineups and will roll off 12th for Wednesday's race.
