Aaron Gordon Won't Return To Dunk Contest
Aaron Gordon confirmed that he is officially done with the dunk contest going forward. It is hard to blame him after what happened to him this year. Derrick Jones pulled off a narrow upset over Gordon after former NBA star Dwayne Wade gave Gordon a nine out of ten. Gordon recently released a 'diss track' aimed at Wade who allegedly rigged the contest, so Jones could win. Possibly Wade wanted a Heat player to take home the trophy, but who knows. After the break Gordon averaged 15.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.3 blocks. Maybe losing the dunk contest was a good thing for him, but it doesn't sound like he'll be back again anytime soon.

Aaron Gordon Listed As Probable For Game 2
Aaron Gordon (calf) has been listed as probable for Monday's Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Gordon is back on the injury report with a right calf strain, but he is likely to play. The veteran was one of the stars of the show in the series opener on Saturday, posting 25 points, eight rebounds, and two steals in 46 minutes. The Clippers must improve their defensive effort against him on Monday night, though they aren't the only team that has struggled to contain him, as Gordon is averaging over 20 points per game this month.

Aaron Gordon Tagged As Questionable For Tuesday
Aaron Gordon (illness, calf) has picked up a questionable tag ahead of Tuesday's action against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The game will kick off a back-to-back set for Denver, and Gordon looks certain to sit out at least one of the contests as he keeps managing a calf injury. Furthermore, he is dealing with an illness, which could also impact his availability. Peyton Watson's workload will likely increase if Gordon does not play. The young forward has been a monster on the defensive end lately, averaging 3.0 blocks per game over the past four contests.

Aaron Gordon Available Wednesday
Aaron Gordon (calf, ankle) will suit up for Wednesday's contest against the Milwaukee Bucks. He is ready to return from a one-game absence after initially carrying a questionable tag on the injury report. Peyton Watson, who tallied 24 points in 39 minutes on Monday against the Chicago Bulls, will have to settle for a smaller role in the rotation due to Gordon's return. Although Gordon has been bothered by calf and ankle injuries, his recent performances have been outstanding, as the 29-year-old has averaged 23.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists over his last five appearances.
