Teams Calling About Curtis Samuel
Curtis Samuel, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. The 2017 second-round pick has had a modest three-season tenure in Carolina, compiling 108 receptions, 1,236 yards and 11 touchdowns in 38 games played. With the addition of former Jets WR Robby Anderson and the presence of 2018 first-round pick D.J. Moore, Carolina may entertain offers for a potential Samuel trade, considering he would be third on the receiver depth chart heading into 2020. No favorite has emerged to trade for Samuel, and it will likely take a very stellar offer for the team to trade the Ohio State product. The 23-year-old's fantasy value is not very high if he remains on the Panthers, but it could see an uptick depending on if he is traded to a team lacking wide receiver talent.

Curtis Samuel Catches Long Touchdown Against Denver
Curtis Samuel caught three passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in the team's dominant win over the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card matchup. Samuel wasn't heavily involved (three targets) but led Buffalo in receiving yards thanks to a long catch-and-run in the fourth quarter. Already ahead two touchdowns entering the final frame, Josh Allen found Samuel for a 55-yard score on the quarter's first play to cement Buffalo's victory. Samuel doesn't hold much value the way Allen shares the love in the passing game. He was one of five receivers to earn three targets, which only trailed Khalil Shakir's six.

Curtis Samuel Secures Seven Passes In Week 18
Curtis Samuel caught seven passes for 52 yards in the team's 23-16 loss to the New England Patriots in the final game of the regular season. His seven receptions were a season-best mark. The 28-year-old has mostly been an afterthought in the Buffalo offense this season, so it makes sense that one of his best games came when the Bills rested some starters. Amari Cooper (family matter) was inactive. Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid were active but did not play a snap. Mitchell Trubisky quarterbacked the majority of the game. Samuel will return to a minimal role in the first round of the playoffs.

Curtis Samuel Active For Regular-Season Finale
Curtis Samuel (rib) is officially active on Sunday for the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival New England Patriots. Samuel will make his return after missing the last two weeks due to a rib injury. The 28-year-old hasn't had much of a role on offense for Buffalo in 2024, although he could get more run this weekend with Buffalo expected to sit their starters on both sides of the ball after a series or two. Amari Cooper (personal) was already ruled out. The Bills are locked into the No. 2 seed in the AFC for the postseason, so there is no benefit to them playing all their key players in this one. However, if Samuel sees a season-high in snaps on Sunday in New England, he'd mostly be working with backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Samuel could be busier than usual, but it's hard to put any fantasy faith in a player with only 201 receiving yards and one TD in 13 games.

Curtis Samuel Questionable For Week 18’s Matchup Versus The Patriots
Curtis Samuel (rib) has been inactive for the last two weeks with a rib injury. Bills head coach Sean McDermott indicated that Samuel is the only player likely to be questionable for this Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The Bills have already secured the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoff picture, so the main reason to consider playing Samuel this week would be to give him some game reps before their playoff matchup next weekend. Samuel has had a disappointing season, recording only 24 receptions for 201 yards and one touchdown. Fantasy managers should look for alternative wide receiver options for production in Week 18.
