Peter Lambert Recovering Well
5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Peter Lambert (forearm) has been doing well in his rehab for a strained right forearm so far, and the team's pitching coach told the media that he's on track to start throwing again in three to four weeks. Steve Foster said that the team has stayed in regular contact with all members of the staff via online video conferences, and the hope is that Lambert is going to be fine. Lambert has been one of Colorado's top pitching prospects, but he's not attractive from a fantasy perspective in redraft leagues in 2020, especially since the season will be shortened if it's played at all. Lambert hasn't finished a season at Triple-A with an ERA under 5.00, and his first go-around in the majors led to a brutal 7.25 ERA in 19 starts.
