Cowboys Re-Signing Sean Lee
5 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys re-signed linebacker Sean Lee to a one-year, $4.5 million deal on Tuesday. The deal includes $2 million in guaranteed money. Lee was a second-round draft pick of the Cowboys back in 2010, so he'll remain with the only organization that he's called home. The oft-injured 33-year-old managed to stay healthy for all 16 games in 2019 for the first time in his career, making 13 starts and adding 86 tackles (55 solo), four tackles for loss, one interception, one sack and four passes defensed while filling in admirably for an injured Leighton Vander Esch. As long as Vander Esch can return healthy, Lee, should be a rotational player for Dallas.
