Fernando Tatis Jr. Hopes to Practice Thursday
5 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (flu) did not play in Wednesday's loss to the Royals as he continues to battle the flu. The second-year infielder was seen at the Padres' complex on Wednesday wearing a mask to prevent spreading the infection to his teammates. The 21-year old has been out four days but hopes to return to practice on Thursday. Tatis Jr. should be ready for Opening Day and remains one of the few players with the potential to post 30 home runs and 30 steals available in the second round of fantasy drafts.
