T.J. Brodie Nets Game-Winning Goal
5 years agoThe Calgary Flames fell behind early on but stormed back to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets by a score of 3-2 in overtime. Flames defenseman T.J. Brodie scored the winning goal, which was his second goal in as many nights. He now has three goals and 18 points in 62 games this season. Matthew Tkachuk had to leave the game briefly after blocking a shot but he returned to score his 22nd goal of the season. He has 11 points over the past 10 games. Elias Lindholm also found the back of the net for his 29th goal on the season. He has 54 points in 68 games. Recent-acquisition Devin Shore had a goal for Columbus. After recording just 10 points in 39 games for Anaheim, he now has two points in four games with the Blue Jackets. Gustav Nyquist had the other goal for Columbus. He has two goals over the past two games. Joonas Korpisalo turned aside 34 of 37 shots in the loss and his been solid in both of his appearances since returning from injury.
