J.D. Davis Appears On Track For Opening Day
5 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder J.D. Davis (shoulder) believes that he will be ready for Opening Day. Davis, who took full swings during batting practice on Wednesday, is ahead of schedule in his return from a jammed left shoulder. The Mets appear intent on getting Davis into the lineup as much as possible during the season. As such, if healthy and ready to go by Opening Day, Davis is a prime breakout candidate for 2020. In just 410 at-bats in 2019, Davis hit .307 with 22 home runs, 57 RBI, and scored 65 runs. With more playing time in 2020, Davis can potentially return monumental value at his current ADP of 173.
