Eduardo Rodriguez Impressive In Spring Training Debut
5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (knee) made his first start of the exhibition schedule and fired three scoreless innings in Saturday's 5-2 loss against the Yankees. Rodriguez allowed two hits and struck out six batters, while issuing no walks over his three innings of work to give fantasy owners a positive sign after the left-hander suffered a knee injury early in the spring. The 26-year-old is expected to get the start on Opening Day as Chris Sale (illness) will start the season on the 15-day injured list, making Rodriguez a must-own starter in standard fantasy formats heading into the 2020 season.
