5 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow) threw a light bullpen session on Sunday. This is an intriguing step in the right direction for the two-way player, who played primarily as an offensive player last season while he recovered from Tommy John surgery. Ohtani has plenty of hurdles to continue to clear before he pitches in a game but the Angels are hoping he could perhaps return to the mound full-time by late May. Ohtani's fantasy value should be strictly viewed as a hitter and anything owners could get out of him from the mound this season would be a bonus.--Joey C - RotoBaller
