Caris LeVert Scores Team-High 25 Points For Nets
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Caris Levert was given the green light against the Sixers on Thursday. He scored 25 points in 39 minutes, but he was not at all efficient. It took 29 field-goal attempts for LeVert to score as many points as he did, as he only converted on nine of them. A 31% clip from the team's leading scorer is not going to get it done against a foe of Philly's caliber, which is why the Nets ended up losing. With Kyrie Irving (shoulder) out for the season, the four-year pro should continue to play a pivotal role in the team's offense. But considering he is shooting 39.8% from the field this season, it remains to be seen whether he can score efficiently as a top option.
