Martin Truex Jr. Is Overvalued at Daytona
5 years agoMartin Truex Jr., driver of the No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing, is entering his 15th full-time season in the Cup Series and second season with JGR. Truex has had a career resurgence in recent years, compiling 23 of his 26 career wins in just the previous four seasons, including seven wins last season alone. His record at Daytona has not been a bright spot for him, however. In 15 tries to win the Great American Race, Truex has an average finish of 19.3. He is currently valued as the seventh-best driver on DraftKings for the Daytona 500. Truex will line up 11th in Duel No. 1 on Thursday night.
